Erin Raney
Erin Raney, PharmD, is a professor of pharmacy practice at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy in
Glendale, AZ. She earned her PharmD from the University of Arizona in 1996 and completed postgraduate
residency training at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals. With more than two decades of experience as
an ambulatory care pharmacist providing collaborative services and experiential education, Raney now focuses
her didactic teaching on endocrinology, including cardiometabolic conditions and women’s health. A dedicated
mentor, she has served as a faculty advisor for the College’s APhA–ASP Chapter on the Glendale campus for 25
years and has been actively engaged in student leadership training for more than a decade. She also
coordinates the College’s Student Professional Development Program, where she integrates her expertise in
emotional intelligence, strengths-based coaching, and effective team functioning. Raney is passionate about
supporting continuing professional development and contributes through her scholarly work on teaching and
learning curricula and self‑assessment strategies for pharmacy residents and preceptors.
