Chyanne Coe, CPhT, is a certified pharmacy technician, pharmacy-based community health worker, and clinical services manager at Semmes Pharmacy. She received the 2026 APhA Immunization Champion Award in the Pharmacy Team Member category. Her experience across retail, hospital, and independent pharmacy has shown her the impact pharmacy technicians can have when empowered to use their training fully.

Alanna R. Scott, PharmD, BCGP, is director of clinical pharmacy, clinical administration, at HopeHealth in South Carolina. She received the 2026 APhA Immunization Champion Award in the Individual Practitioner category. Her message is optimistic: Pharmacists are already having conversations with patients about disease prevention and management, making vaccination a natural part of the relationship.

Joel Thornbury, BSPharm, RPh, is a pharmacist at Care More Pharmacy, immunizer, and public health advocate with nearly 30 years of experience. He received a 2025 APhA Immunization Champion Award Honorable Mention in the Individual Practitioner category. He describes pharmacists not only as medication experts, but also as vaccination providers, educators, and advocates who help prevent disease and protect community health.
