The implementation and impact of chapter peer mentor programs

Following my first year serving as a leader in the 2021–2022 South Dakota State University College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions APhA–ASP Chapter, I noticed the struggle of engaging our freshmen and sophomore members preparing for the PharmD program throughout the school year.

Our chapter’s commitment to patient-centered care

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Pharmacy APhA–ASP Chapter was proud to receive the APhA–ASP Outstanding IPSF Activity Award at APhA2024 in Orlando. Our chapter takes great pride in one of its largest initiatives, which is our involvement with Clinica Esperanza, a student-led clinic that offers free medical care to uninsured Hispanic patients in the greater Memphis area.The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Pharmacy APhA–ASP Chapter was proud to receive the APhA–ASP Outstanding IPSF Activity Award at APhA2024 in Orlando. Ambitious leaders lead charge for most improved chapter

BUSOPPS welcomed its inaugural PharmD class in August 2017, and since then has significantly advanced its APhA–ASP Chapter through patient care outreach, policy and advocacy efforts, social media presence, professional development, and collaboration with internal student pharmacist organizations and external organizations throughout the Binghamton area.
